Usage > Constructing Crop Plans > SiteTool

The site tool can be reached by the icon on the toolbar and while editing the establish event. The site tool lets the user compare relationships between different age, site index and site height values. By providing two of the above values the site tool will provide the other. First one must specify what variable they would like to have calculated. The type of site curve (Alberta or BC) must be specified along with the species (SW, Pl, Aw or Sb) of interest. The two variables that are not being calculated must be filled in and automatically the third variable is displayed.

MAI is also provided, which in this case is defined as the mean annual increment from origin 1.3m. It is calculated as follows:

MAI = Site Height - 1.3
Age (BH)
